About Carpe Diem
Carpe Diem is located on a paradise island named Isla los Brasiles. There is limited electricity, no roads, and no cars - just the connection with nature, the ocean, and yourself. The resort runs on solar power so you can charge phones and small devices, and the sleeping accommodations are equipped with candles and lanterns for each guest. The resort is set in the middle of nature and built with all local materials, and the beautiful colonial town of Leon is accessible with all services in less than an hour.
About Kerri Ann
Kerri Ann has been practicing yoga since she was a young girl in the back of her mother's classes. In college, she solidified her personal practice at home and began venturing to studios in her hometown of Cranford, New Jersey. Taking classes in a studio strengthened her love of yoga; she learned more about alignment and breath work. Kerri Ann was inspired to leave her career in Event Production to get her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate through YogaWorks in New York City. There, she learned more about the origin of yoga and the connection between the mind, breath, and body.
Her teaching is centered around deepening that connection and making her students feel comfortable in their practice. Since receiving her training in 2016, Kerri Ann has been teaching classes and private lessons at Yoga Essence in New Providence and Lebanon. She frequently hosts events and workshops in North and Central Jersey. Kerri Ann’s goal is to make yoga accessible for everyone in their daily lives, in any form of the practice.
